Dear Addis Ababa City Administration Commerce Bureau leaders; employees; stakeholders, as well as the trade and consumer community, I understand that you are doing your part in the efforts to achieve the mission of both the transaction and regulatory sectors to stabilize the cost of living that is constantly challenging our world and our country. Therefore, we are working to expand the product supply and strengthen market linkages in the transaction sector; establish a fair trade system in the regulatory sector; reduce the living pressure of our city community by preventing the influence of illegal traders; prevent theft and corruption; improve service delivery; and achieve better results in the 2017 budget year. We are working to make the trade registration and licensing service completely paperless online and to bring other services to technology to be efficient, cost-effective, and free from corruption. However, to solve the problem of the cost of living in our city, we cannot say that we have completely addressed the problems of good governance, but we have a lot of work to do.
